LINDA CAIN I retired with my husband in Morton, Illinois after working in the telephone industry for 30 years. I started my career as a watercolor artist after I had to leave college and follow my husband to Colorado with the Army. Having taken many classes with local artists in different fields, and correspondence courses, I was enjoying retirement with watercolor friends and making beaded jewelry. Then a class reunion brought me into the realm of Stamp artists. From there the classes led from journals, cards and Altoid tins to Altered books, where I found everything seemed to come together...everything. Watercolor, stamps, polymer clay, coins, papers, collage, beads, wire....I was hooked. I enjoy making handmade books and watercolor collages as well, but Altered books keep me in my studio for hours and hours.
