SUZANNE CANNON     I began artistic life as a calligrapher and then moved into watercolours to compliment the lettering. When my children were small I didn't have the time to design, lay out and execute a formal piece of lettering, which led to a passion for bookbinding. And then to altering.....!

One of the harder parts of altering for some can be to complete a book. About a year ago a I began an online group, The byhand Altered Book Project, which approached altering in a spread by spread method. We focused on incorporating different techniques for altering each set of pages.
