Carmi Cimicata Carmi Cimicata has been interested in art and crafts for over thirty years as both a student and teacher. She attained a visual arts degree from Ryerson University that provided a formal foundation for her art pursuits. Upon graduating from Ryerson, Carmi founded BACCHUS and The Student Life Education Company; a highly recognized charity for young Canadians where she was executive director for sixteen years. She credits the charity experience for inspiring her to create handmade inexpensive promotional and educational materials. Carmi believes you can be cost conscious and effective while still making items that are elegant and professional. She happily retired from her charitable work in 2001 and is now teaching a variety of paper art classes. Carmi also has a greeting card company “Rubber Stamping Masterpieces,” that creates special event and one-of–a-kind invitations. She teaches full time at “A Scrapbookers Dream,” a 5000+ square foot store just north of Toronto, in Canada.
