GV Zwang My greatest teacher was my grandmother, who was a dollmaker. I grew up sewing dresses, embroidering faces, beading outfits. I've been crafting for as long as I can remember. At the age of 12 my first paying job was teaching French beaded flowers. My art has evolved from needlework to beads to fibers to rubber stamping to paper and book arts while dabbling in stained glass and metalwork along the way.
Many of my pieces have been commissioned, My work has been published, and I've been an instructor for almost 10 years mostly with children and after school enrichment courses. I've been on the internet since its inception and many know me as AngelMoose. I love being involved in collaborative art projects. I collect Angels, Moose, anything craft related and love animal prints and shoes....go figure?
I have a husband, son and daughter who are all very creative and talented. My daughter has started to accompany me on art retreats. We move quite a bit for my husband's work so I get my sense of community from the artists and friends I've made along the way and on the various lists.
Life as art is always a work in progress!
