Maria Aprile Sawczuk Maria began scrapbooking over ten years ago, and has recently been bitten by the altered art bug. She is a born story-teller, so it seemed only natural that she would be drawn to scrapbooking and altered art as a means of telling her life story. More importantly, her art will survive her, much like the oral traditions of yore. It’s hoped her descendants will be able to glipse, through her eyes, the past. It's this legacy that makes art so important to her, that flames the passion she has for it.
