Peta Lloyd    Peta has always enjoyed getting her hands dirty and mucking around with paint and glue, she has recently gained a Diploma of Visual Art. Mixed media, collage and printmaking are her preferred mediums. Altered books and unique handmade cards and 'box cards' have become a passion. Sharing techniques and working in collaboration with other artists inspires Peta to reach satisfying outcomes within her art work. Peta who has been a bower bird since she could walk, lives by the mantra of: "Never ever throw anything away". Peta lives in Sunny Queensland in Australia with her husband Bruce in a mud brick house they built together, she is inspired by the built and natural worlds as well as the stories that are 'told' by past and present family members. Peta loves the excitement of learning something new.
