EMMA POWELL I am currently a lecturer in Graphic Design, Bookmaking and Printmaking in the UK. I love making a mess and trying new techniques! I am also undertaking a practice-based PhD concerned with the use of Rejectamenta ( Things thrown away - Webster s 1828 Dictionary) by selected contemporary creators.
I am investigating the creative trail of rejectamenta through an exploration of contexts (location, selection and collation) and outcomes. I am due to complete this research in September 2007.
