CORINNE STUBSON lives in Medford, Oregon, and shares a love for her family with her love of art, classical music, and gardening.
"As a member of the 'sandwich generation'-(daughter, wife, mother, grandmother), I am thoroughly enjoying my life as 'artist'. Now retired from a 20-year career in nursing, I am immersed in the field of altered books. (I also create dazzling beaded earrings.) For two years, I have been working to define my style in altered book art, only to find I love a variety of styles and techniques. Niche books seem to be what I enjoy creating most. Currently moderator for Alteredbooks Group (through Yahoo), I continue to hone my art through sharing with my colleagues in the burgeoning creative arena of altered books. I exhibit my books in local art galleries."
